Terms of Service

These terms set out the conditions for using Hidden Front (the “service”). By using the service you agree to them. Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

The service

• The service is a free web board game. It can be used without signing in.
• Signing in with a Google account unlocks features that need an account, such as rankings and game records. You can delete your account at any time from the settings screen.

What we ask of players

• Do not manipulate records or rankings with programs that play moves automatically, by exploiting bugs, or with multiple accounts or arranged games.
• Do not use a nickname that insults or impersonates another person.
• Do not send excessive requests to the server or attempt to access other users’ information.

If these rules are broken, the service may remove the records in question or exclude them from rankings, and may restrict the account or the connection.

Changes to and suspension of the service

The service may change its rules, features and screens, or stop operating. The preservation of games in progress and of records is not guaranteed. Important changes will be announced in advance where possible, inside the game or on this page.

Liability

The service is provided free of charge and as is. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is not liable for damage arising from its use, except in cases of its own intent or gross negligence.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
