On ordinary roads, a piece moves one space at a time to a connected neighboring spot.

Go far on railways

In one move, send the Captain (3) to the target at the far end of the same railway.

Why this works

On railways, you can move several spaces in a straight line. No need to stop along the way.

The Engineer turns on railways

In one move, send the Engineer (1) to the target on the other side of the railway.

Why this works

Along a clear railway, the Engineer can change direction several times in one move. Other pieces move only in straight lines, even on railways.

Go around a blocked railway

Leave your piece in the middle where it is, and send the Engineer (1) to the target on the other side.

Even the Engineer can't jump over friendly or enemy pieces. If the way is blocked, go around on another railway.
